During your stay in Ferme Blanche, you’ll enjoy delicious vegetarian home cooking, home made yogurt, freshly baked cakes, and seasonal produce. Where possible, we use locally sourced cheese, organic or local milk and free range eggs. We’re also happy to cook for vegans too. In summer, the vegetables are increasingly from local market gardens. We also do our best to support artisan food producers locally and in the surrounding area.

Laid back breakfasts

Take your time over a leisurely breakfast, available from 8am until 10am. An early self-service continental breakfast is also possible, just let us know when you arrive.

  • Mountain breakfast (10€, or FREE if you BOOK DIRECT with us): choice of tea, coffee or herbal tea; bread, jam, fresh fruit, organic yogurt, fruit juice and cereals, home made cake and a daily changing hot special. One day it might be croissants, fried eggs or French toast, another, porridge or scotch pancakes with bilberries and crème fraiche.

Picnic lunches

If you’re going off on a long walk or exploring the local area, take one of our picnic lunch bags with you. They include a sandwich, fresh fruit and a sweet treat.

Picnic: 10€ (24 hours notice required)

Scrumptious tea & cake

Sit down to a lovely slice of homemade cake or mouthwatering biscuits and hot drink either your room, in the garden, or in front of the fire in the sitting room.

Afternoon cake or biscuits served with tea, coffee or herbal tea: 7.50€ per person (subject to availability – please book at breakfast or before)

Grazing boards (summer only)

If you’re arriving late, or just fancy a simple evening meal, order one of our grazing boards to share in the garden, or your room if you have a suite. Served on a wooden board, it features a selection of cheeses (including unpasteurised ones) from the local area and surrounding region, along with crusty bread and pickles. Why not wash it down with a nice bottle of house wine? Just 15€ a bottle for red, white or rose.

Delicious dinners

Our emphasis is on vegetarian home cooking with a conscience. We use local milk and cheese where we can, free range eggs, and seasonal vegetables. Meals are served either at individual tables or family-style around the large dining room table in winter, or outside on the terrace in summer (if the weather is fine.) Dinner is usually at around 7.30-8pm and is a 3 course set menu. We can also cater for vegans, gluten-free diets and people with food allergies.

Dinner: 30€ for 3 courses (including wine and hot drinks) – 24 hours notice required and subject to availability. In winter, dinner is 35€.

Half board / Demi pension

Fancy a long weekend or short break walking, mountain biking or cycling in a beautiful part of the Alps? We offer a special discounted half board rate for stays of 2 nights or more with dinner and breakfast included (based on 2 people sharing the room).
